Tuesday, December 31, 6:00pm - Wednesday, January 1, 11:00am
As we enter the New Year 2020, we will explore the role of naming in Scripture and its impact on our lives.
Naming was important for the vision of a person’s life. How can we better lean into God’s vision for us as we enter into the New Year? We all have been given many names over the span of our lives, and we will consider the importance and impact they have had in defining who we are. We will also consider God’s claim through the prophet Isaiah, ‘I have called you by name, you are mine.’ What names might we leave behind, and what names does God give to us as we enter the New Year?
This overnight retreat begins with dinner at 6:00pm on December 31, and will include time for quiet reflection, creative prayer, sharing, celebration and Mass each day.
