We Rise Again! Resurrection and Resilience for Catholic Educators
Thursday, August 6 from 9:00am - 3:00pm
In the wake of the health and economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, how do Catholic educators return to the “new normal”?
Based on our Christian perspective of the Paschal Mystery and practical applications of resilience skills, we will gather, gain perspective and create resources for ourselves as educators and for our students and school communities. The day will include presentations and interactive conversation along with time for both personal and communal prayer. Before the new school year begins, come enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities and beautiful grounds of the Jesuit Retreat Center. Lunch is included in the cost of the program.
Dr. Jessica Wrobleski is Vice-President for Mission at Saint Joseph’s Academy and a former Theology Faculty member at Wheeling Jesuit University. Dr. Bill Hobbs, Associate Director at Jesuit Retreat Center, has served as a teacher, counselor, principal and president in Jesuit elementary, middle and high schools and as a former Vice-President/Director of Leadership Development and Research, Jesuit Schools Network.
