Sunday, August 16, 6:00pm - Wednesday, August 19, 11:00am

Enneagram Contemplative Retreat

This retreat is postponed until May 2021.

The Enneagram Contemplative Retreat is an opportunity to journey deeper into the unique wisdom that is revealed through silence and nature. The lessons of the retreat are drawn from the spirituality of the Enneagram and the classical teachings of poets, saints and mystics from many religious traditions.

The program is a retreat in the fullest sense of the word providing a simple yet elegant process to quiet ourselves, pay attention to life’s deepest priorities, and listen to our sacred questions. The theme of the retreat is summed up with this invitation: “Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love.” Rumi

The Enneagram Contemplative Retreat includes:

  • A four day three night retreat where participants have a rare, concentrated opportunity to reflect, pray and listen to “the still, small voice within”
  • Some teachings, common rituals and exercises take place but only as a support to the essential time alone which is the centerpiece of this retreat
  • Participants enjoy a spacious schedule in a comfortable wilderness lodge with private rooms, healthy and nutritious food in a beautiful, natural environment

Sacred Art of Living Centeris the sole sponsor of the Enneagram Contemplative Retreat. The program is also facilitated by an experienced team of Enneagram teachers and trained spiritual directors from a variety of spiritual traditions who support the needs of each retreat participant.

Richard Groves provides the sacred psychology and spiritual theology for this retreat. Founder of the Sacred Art of Living Centerand co-creator of the Enneagram Contemplative Retreat with his wife Mary, Richard is an internationally certified Enneagram Instructor and author of many resources for psycho-spiritual development.

The Retreat Team includes members from each of the nine Ennea-types. Team members bring a wealth of valuable Enneagram training, experience as spiritual companions and a strong commitment to support program participants.
