Sunday, October 3 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm
As we mark the turn of the seasons with the autumnal equinox, we invite you to come pray and meditate as you walk our (temporary) labyrinth in the JRC meadow.
Our labyrinth is modelled on the one embedded in the floor of the Chartes Cathedral in France. While ancient in origin, walking and praying the labyrinth became popular for Christians in the Middle Ages when it was difficult or dangerous to go on pilgrimage. A labyrinth walk can represent a life journey, a pilgrimage to a sacred place, or a prayer path that leads us to God.
Walking the labyrinth invites you into intentional prayer for yourself, for family or friends, for our world or our local community. It invites us to pray with our bodies, our hearts, our minds, and our souls.
