Journaling with Teilhard: Worshipping in the Universal Christ

Fr. Teilhard de Chardin SJ, 1881-1955, tied an evolutionary worldview in with a Universal Christ understanding as rooted in, among others, the Gospel of John, the Letter to the Colossians and Ephesians.

His experience of the Christ presence is profound in his Mass on the World prayer, and in his frequent references to Christ as Eucharistic.

In our virtual sessions, we will reflect on the Christ presence in worship as it can enrich and expand our personal and communal ritual prayer. Our sessions will include short presentations, time for reflective journaling and group sharing.
