William B. Miller is a former Secretary for Catechesis for the Diocese of Cleveland. He is also a past President of the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership. He holds a Master’s Degree in Religious Education and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction. He is the author of Finding Your Spiritual Direction as a Catechist (Twenty-Third Publishing, 2017); and A Time of Blessings and Peace (Twenty-Third Publishing, 2023). He is a co-author of Digital Ministry and Leadership in Today’s Church, (Liturgical Press, 2022). Bill and his wife of 44 years, Marilyn, live in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Sr. Mary Ann Spangler, a Sister of the Humility of Mary, brings years of educational, parish, and retreat/spiritual direction experience. She obtained a Masters Degree at Kent State University and a spiritual direction certification from the Ignatian Spirituality Institute at John Carroll University. She has served as Vocation Minister for the Sisters of the Humility of Mary and also as co-director of the HM Associate Community. She directs retreats at the Jesuit Retreat Center and Lial Renewal Center. She companions adults as well as young adults focusing on prayer, relationships, discernment and transitions in life.
