The Gospel of John, late 1st Century in origin, is an inspired, mystical, and original take on the person of Jesus as the human presence of “The Word” among us. In this Gospel, the eternal Word speaks through Jesus.
In this program, we will look at several of John’s “representational figures” in their encounters with Jesus as well as investigate the rich symbols like bread and light, that Jesus uses to describe himself and invites his students to live in.
This virtual program is presented by Mike Reiling M. Ed., a retired theology teacher now leading programs about Teilhard de Chardin, personal journaling, and the Gospel of John.
