Tuesday, March 16 from 11:30am - 1:30pm
The Corporal Works of Mercy (feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, visit the prisoners, bury the dead, and give alms to the poor) are central to our lives as Christians. They are not only words spoken by Jesus – but also examples which he modeled. In this season of Lent, come to hear Fr. Greg Hyde, SJ speak on how each one of us can both pray with and live the corporal works of mercy in our day to day lives.
11:30 am – Opening Prayer
12:00 noon – Lunch
12:45 pm – Presentation and Conversation
Greg Hyde, SJ currently serves on the pastoral staff of the Gesu Parish. Previously, he was Director at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House outside of Detroit, and as Superior of the Jesuit Novitiate in St. Paul, MN.
