A holy longing stirs in each of us. A desire to be your true self wrestles within.

If you are a Catholic man looking to deepen your faith, seeking to develop your relationship with God, longing to have real conversations, hoping for greater insights into living Christian manhood, and desiring to develop a practical spirituality, then we hope you join us.

This retreat includes: (a) in-depth presentations, (b) time for prayer and reflection, (c) large and small group sharing and conversation, (d) Sunday Liturgy/Mass, (e) Reconciliation / Confession, (f) overnight private room, and (g) breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided: starting with dinner at 6:00pm on Friday and ending with breakfast on Sunday.

Our presenters are Fr. Paul O’Connor, SJ and Tom Pussel.

Tom Pussel is the St. Raphael Parish Evangelization & Outreach Director, a Grief Recovery Specialist, Cleveland Clinic Chaplain, and former hospice chaplain. Tom privately counsels and leads grief recovery workshops and programs that help people move beyond death, divorce, and other life transitions. Tom continues his Second Half of Life spiritual journey, is married and has three children, and enjoys F3: Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith.

Fr. Paul O’Connor, SJ is the Director of Mission & Identity at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Parma. Fr. Paul leads a variety of Ignatian Spirituality & Life Transitions retreats and is a retreat director for the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and other retreats. He enjoys deepening his Second Half of Life spiritual journey, is a former high school Theology teacher and two-sport coach, and enjoys hiking in National Parks.

This retreat began as the St. Raphael Parish Men’s Retreat (Bay Village, OH) and has now grown to invite any Catholic man whose heart is moved to participate in this retreat. Please email Fr.
