Since 1898, the grounds of Jesuit Retreat Center have provided spiritual peace for people looking to deepen their relationship with God. The sacred space of JRC is a vital gift to Northeast Ohio.

Come away for a weekend of silence and rest. Similar to our “Sabbath Days,” The Sabbath Weekend Retreat is a personal, self-directed retreat where you are invited to deepen your spirituality and to step away from the busyness of life. Enjoy our beautiful grounds, walking trails, outdoor seating, back patio, three chapels, lounges, library, private rooms, prayer spaces, and Normandy Catering food during your stay.

The format for this weekend entails:

Friday

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Arrival, Check-in

5:30 pm: Dinner

6:15 pm: Welcome, Orientation, and options for self-directed prayer

Saturday

8:00 am: Breakfast

12:00 pm: Lunch

4:30 pm: Option: Catholic Liturgy / Mass (with Ignatian Spirituality components during homily)

5:30 pm: Dinner

Sunday

8:00 am: Breakfast

*Depart any time in the morning

11:00 am: Sabbath Weekend ends
