Young Adult “Alone With God” Retreat

This retreat is an overnight opportunity to pause, refocus, renew, and reconnect with God.

Amid 50+ acres of nature, this short retreat offers quiet, the opportunity to share with a trained spiritual director, sacramental reconciliation, Liturgy for the weekend, healthy meals and time to be alone with God. The fee is a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 and the remainder of the cost is underwritten with a grant from the Sisters of the Humility of Mary.

Our presenter, Sr. Mary Ann Spangler, a Sister of the Humility of Mary, brings years of educational, parish, and retreat/spiritual direction experience. She obtained a master’s degree at Kent State University and a spiritual direction certification from the Ignatian Spirituality Institute at John Carroll University. She has also served as Vocation Minister for the Sisters of the Humility of Mary. Her present ministry is spiritually companioning young adults. Some of her focus areas are prayer, relationships, discernment and transitions in life. She also enjoys nature, cooking and baking as part of her own version of “meals on wheels,” and spending time catching up with family and friends.
