You are invited to join nationally renowned author and speaker, Ian Morgan Cron, for a day of exploration on the Twelve Steps and the Enneagram and how these two tools can be a source of healing and recovery in your life and the lives of those you love and care for. Ian is an Episcopal priest and a Jungian analyst who brings deep expertise and his personal story to share with us.
You will learn how to address the wounds in your life – those things both simple and complicated that derail us from living the lives we are meant to live. If you are in recovery yourself, know someone who is, or you understand that the 12 Steps has something to offer each and every one of us, this program is for you. Whether you are familiar with the Enneagram, mildly curious, or uncertain about how one more personality system might offer insights to your motivations and patterns of behavior, this program is for you.
The Twelve Steps are the core program of Alcoholics Anonymous, which was founded in Akron, OH in 1935. Sister Ignatia Gavin, CSA worked with Dr. Bob Smith to provided medical care for those in recovery at the order’s hospital in Akron. She also sent men to the Jesuits in Parma for spiritual healing, establishing JRC’s strong bond to the recovery community. The Enneagram is a personality system with ancient roots and a distinctly spiritual perspective which was spread in contemporary times by Jesuits in the United States, including former JRC Director Patrick O’Leary.
The world is hurting, because so many individuals are hurting – we have hurt or been hurt by those in our families, work environments, and communities. Come learn some new perspectives, important truths, and pathways to healing and wholeness for yourself and for those whom you love…
Cost includes the program, lunch and lite dinner.
