Journey to Bethlehem - an Ignatian Contemplative Weekend

In the busyness of the season, step away and spend some time observing the silence and beauty of Advent.

In these final days before we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity, the Incarnation of Jesus, come away as a pilgrim and journey to Bethlehem. Who will we meet along the way? Mary and Joseph travelling from Nazareth to the city of David for the Roman census? The Magi, the wise ones from the East, following the star and seeking the soon-to-be born Messiah? The shepherds, tending their flocks in the hills surrounding the city, who will be the first to hear the news of great joy?

Our weekend will include presentations, directions for the practice of Ignatian Imaginative Contemplation, time for personal and communal prayer, and the Vigil Liturgy for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
