Ignatia Gavin, CSA worked with Dr. Bob to help admit alcoholics into Saint Thomas Hospital for physical
healing. She also realized the importance of spiritual healing, and began sending men to the Jesuit
Retreat Center (then known as Saint Stanislaus.) Each year, JRC offers four retreats (two each for men and women) and hosts five or six other recovery groups, as well as those from the Ignatian Spirituality
