At the Jesuit Retreat Center, one of the things of which we are most proud is our long connection with the Recovery community. Shortly after the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous in Akron in 1935, Sister Ignatia Gavin, CSA worked with Dr. Bob to help admit alcoholics into Saint Thomas Hospital for physical healing.
