Advent comes from the Latin word meaning "coming." It is the season of four weeks in which we prepare to celebrate “God-with-us” – the birth of Jesus Christ. In this time for peace and introspection, come to JRC to prepare your heart to embrace the meaning and miracle of Christmas.
Directed Retreats are a time of sacred silence, an invitation to step away from the pressures and demands of daily responsibilities, and an opportunity for sustained personal prayer. These retreats are ideal for anyone seeking to explore or deepen one's relationship with God and take the next step in his or her spiritual journey.
This body of programming is designed to support spiritual directors in their ongoing personal and professional formation including training to give the Spiritual Exercises to both individuals and groups. (i.e., 19th Annotation, 18th Annotation, 7-Night, and 8-Week Ignatian Retreats).
Come to JRC for a day, evening or weekend retreat that will provide time for deeper prayer and reflection on your journey through life with God. Strengthen the Lenten practices that will lead to a closer walk with Jesus through the Paschal Mystery of Holy Week and into the joy of Easter.
