We have another update about our Pilgrims of Hope initiative!
Earlier this year, the St. Joseph statue was carefully removed from JRC and restored by Milano Stone & Restoration. It returned to the grounds in July, with its many details beautifully renewed and preserved.
Our Facilities Team also completed new landscaping around the statue, and the space was finished in time for a private blessing and dedication on July 25.
We are grateful to everyone whose generosity, care, and hard work made this restoration possible. We look forward to seeing this renewed space continue to offer a peaceful place for prayer and reflection at the Jesuit Retreat Center.

This is an exciting season at the Jesuit Retreat Center, with the arrival of our new Executive Director, Fr. Mike Marco, SJ in October and continued progress on our Pilgrims of Hope initiative.
Construction has now begun on the Pilgrim Trail of Hope, an important part of our plan to enhance the natural areas surrounding JRC. With guidance from Cleveland Metroparks, new trails will help complete a pathway system around the perimeter of our property, giving retreatants more accessible ways to walk, pray, reflect, and encounter God in nature.
We look forward to sharing more progress as the trail takes shape.
